Songs from Szymanowski

homeland

Traditional songs from the Kiev region and Eastern Podolia, which Karol Szymanowski probably encountered during his childhood. Delightful, very specific music of these songs in the form of a spectacle. A great rite, drawing the viewer into the middle of an ancient, magical world. Lullabies, Caroling, ritual songs (summer, winter and spring calendar and wedding), playful, Chumatian, Cossack, balads, funeral psalm ... At some moments violin, rim drum, bells, rattles, ocarines.
